Inventory & buying

Inputs, fuel, and parts with low-stock warnings before you're out mid-season.

Running out of a chemical mid-spray week is an expensive kind of surprise. Khet watches inputs, fuel, and parts against what the field already used, then nags you before the bin is actually empty.

Where to start

  1. 01Stock alerts
  2. 02Purchase orders
  3. 03Supplier contacts

In practice

Stock that follows the field

If a crew used it on a block, the store already knows. Buying starts from that count, not from a guess.

  1. 01

    Receive it once

A delivery lands against a purchase order. The lot, the supplier, and the quantity are on the same line.

  2. 02

    Issue it to a job

When a work order uses seed, chemical, or fuel, the quantity leaves stock and sticks to the block.

  3. 03

    Get warned early

Low-stock alerts fire before you are out. You can turn the alert into a restock order instead of a phone call to three suppliers.

  4. 04

    Count what is left

A store count corrects the book. The difference is visible. It is not silently edited in a private sheet.

Details

Buying and the shed, together

Lots and locations

Know which store, which lot, and how much is left. Fuel and parts can live beside crop inputs.

Purchase orders

Raise an order, track what arrived, and keep the supplier on the record. Partial deliveries do not disappear.

Usage from the field

Stock moves when the job is closed. You stop discovering the shortage at the start of the next spray.

Reports the store manager will open

On-hand, on-order, and used-this-month. Enough to buy. Not a 40-column export you have to clean first.

Questions

What people ask before they book

Can we track fuel and spare parts, or only crop inputs?

Both. Fuel, parts, packaging, and crop inputs can sit in the same inventory, issued to the jobs that used them.

What happens when a count does not match the book?

You post the count. The adjustment is visible, with who did it, instead of a quiet overwrite.

Does Lite include inventory?

Yes. Stock, harvest, and work orders are part of Lite. Purchase depth grows as you move to Standard.
