Nut & citrus orchards
Inventory and ops from bloom through packout, when every week has a different crew and buyer.
Permanent crops do not reset in April. Crews change, buyers change, and the block still has a history. Khet keeps bloom-to-packout work, bins, and settlements on that history so next year is not a scavenger hunt.
On this kind of farm

In practice
Bloom to packout
The block keeps its history. This week's crew writes on it. They do not start a new notebook.
- 01
Scout and spray by block
Notes from the row stay on the block. The next spray job can see what was already applied.
- 02
Pick into bins you can follow
Bin counts and weights attach to the block and the day. Packout is not guessing which lot is which.
- 03
Pack and ship against the pick
QC and shipment status use the same bins. A buyer question can be answered from the record.
- 04
Settle when you pack for others
If you run a pool, settlements read the same receiving data. A single orchard can skip that and still run the season.
Details
Built around permanent crops
Block history
Almonds, citrus, pistachios, walnuts. The block outlives the season, so the notes should too.
Crew handoffs
Pruning, spray, and harvest are different teams. The work order is how the next team knows what finished.
Packout
Grade, bins, and what left the shed. Tied back to the pick, not to a separate packing spreadsheet.
Grower settlements
When you receive from other growers, the pool math sits on the lots you actually took in.
Questions
What people ask before they book
We only have one orchard. Is this too much?
No. Use work orders, harvest, and inventory. Leave grower pools alone until you pack for someone else.
Can nut blocks and citrus blocks share one tenant?
Yes. They stay separate blocks with their own crop and costs, under the same farm.
Do pickers need a full login each?
Users are unlimited. Seasonal crew can close the jobs they are given without you buying extra seats.
