Getting started
No IT team. No training course. Open Khet, register the land you already farm, and start the season you are in.
The first hour
Setup is the only concentrated work. After that, records are a by-product of the day — not a separate job at the end of the season.
Add your farms and fields. Mark each block as rainfed or irrigated, and choose the system — canal, tubewell, drip, or pivot. Name the blocks the way you already talk about them.
Tell Khet what you planted, where, and when. It builds a week-by-week activity plan from crop templates. You review the dates, change what does not fit, and confirm.
Workers mark attendance. Supervisors log irrigation, sprays, and field work. Sales and pay post into the P&L. By harvest, the records are already there — not waiting to be reconstructed from notebooks.
After setup
You do not switch into “software mode.” You mark what already happened, and the rest of the system stays current.
Mark who showed up. Log the irrigation run or the spray. Capture a scouting visit if someone walked a block. Two minutes, not a report.
Check overdue tasks, upcoming warabandi turns, and trap counts. Confirm what the board already knows instead of chasing people for updates.
Record lots, grades, and dispatch weights. The spray diary and WHP clearance are already attached to the block — harvest is blocked if it is not safe yet.
Open the P&L, export the PDF for the bank, and compare which crop and which block paid. Next season’s plan starts from this record, not from memory.
Who uses it
The owner sees money and decisions. Supervisors run crews. Workers log the work. Everyone uses the same record.
Sees the whole picture — cash, crops, overdue work, and which agent is paying. Approves the season plan and the pay run. Does not need to stand in the field to know what happened.
Owns a crew and a set of blocks. Marks attendance, logs activities, and picks up tasks from the board. Only sees the people and land they manage.
